Rush Nutrition: one of 23 South African companies recognised by the London Stock Exchange Group

Rush Nutrition have been recognised by the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) as ‘one of the companies to inspire Africa’ in their 2019 publication which recognised 300 companies across the African continent and just 23 from South Africa. These are companies the LSEG believe have the most inspiring stories and the strongest growth potential. Of the 23 South African businesses recognised, Rush Nutrition and just 2 others are female founded and led. Stats like these, as well as the fact that female entrepreneurship in South Africa has decreased from 48% to 38% of all businesses in the last 10 years has led the LSEG to proactively focus on breaking barriers for female entrepreneurs and leaders to promote greater involvement of women in business, particularly in Africa. They have thus teamed up with African Women on Board, Harvard University and the University of Cambridge Judge Business School’s MBA programme to conduct research into advancing the economic development of African female entrepreneurs and we wholeheartedly applaud their efforts!

Rush Nutrition aim to be pioneers in the functional nutrition category, our goal being to combat disease, reduce food waste and place a spotlight on the healing power of African foods and beverages. The simple, natural and 100% local ingredients we use in our products speak for themselves, what’s not in our products speaks even louder!
